Lyrics
I think that my body has adjusted but mind and attitude ain't changed I'm just a city kid who is wrapped too tight to notice that the streets have all changed. I know where I hang my head at night but I'm not sure it really has a name I shudder to think that this is home and but this isn't how it ends. I'm so tired of waking up and giving in. The fact that the city was built under protest and the fact that the city then burnt down the irony isn't lost on me after the summer after all the fires. I'm not sure that this is worth fighting for anymore my hands are tired and my lips are bound and my head is full of all these sounds. I'm so tired of waking up and giving in. I think that my body has adjusted but mind and attitude ain't changed I'm just a city kid whose wrapped too tight to notice that the streets have all changed.
