Relaxing Background Music for Calm Scenes

Audiosocket's Peaceful collection is relaxing background music selected for calm, low-motion scenes, and the large majority of its tracks are instrumental. Keyboards lead most cues, with soft electric guitar, electronic textures, strings and sparse percussion across contemporary folk, cinematic emotional cues and ambient relaxation pieces. It was chosen for spa and meditation content, study streams, aerial and landscape documentary footage and slow-motion montages where music must stay under narration.

About this Playlist

Almost all of it is. Roughly four out of five tracks are instrumental, including several instrumental versions of songs such as Jetty Rae's Imagine (Instrumental), Benjamin Mullins' One Two Three (Instrumental) and XANDE's Somebody (inst). The Bells by From Indian Lakes is the notable vocal exception, so preview it before dropping it under narration. Everything else can run beneath a voice without lyrics competing.
Keyboards lead the collection, but it is not a solo-piano set. Keys are the most common lead instrument, closely followed by soft electric guitar and electronic textures, with strings and light percussion appearing on a smaller share of tracks. The result is a blended, layered calm, closer to Loscil, Biosphere or Sufjan Stevens than to a classical recital. If you want unaccompanied piano only, filter the wider catalog by instrument instead.
It is built to stay underneath a voice. Calm is the dominant mood tag across the set, nearly every track is instrumental, and the tracks are tagged for spa, study, slow motion, documentary and aerial or landscape footage. At an average length of just under three and a half minutes, a single cue can cover a guided-breathing segment or a scenic sequence without looping; Nokturn's Contemplative and Birds of Norway's A Resting Place are typical of the sustained, unhurried feel.
This collection is melodic calm rather than static drone. Only a small portion of the tracks are tagged ambient or drone; the majority are contemporary folk, cinematic emotional cues, new age relaxation and even a lounge jazz piece, so there is gentle movement, chord change and a sense of arrival. Choose it when your visuals need warmth and emotion, such as a sentimental documentary passage or a slow-motion montage, and look to a dedicated ambient collection when you want featureless texture for sleep or long-form focus content.
It depends on who publishes the finished video. Audiosocket offers Individual, Indie Film, Small Business and Large Business tiers across Personal, Commercial and Music-as-a-Service plan types; a solo creator monetizing their own channel generally fits the Individual tier, while content produced for a studio, brand or client falls under the business tiers. Every plan gives unlimited licensing during the subscription, billed monthly or annually, and each license issued is perpetual for that specific finished video.
