Promo Music for Sizzle Reels

Promo music on Audiosocket is a curated collection of exciting, hook-forward tracks licensed for sizzle reels, demo reels and brand promo videos. Dance pop leads, with funk, house, pop rock and a country pop cut widening the palette, and about a third of the set is instrumental, including Mark Dannells's Superconductor (Instrumental) and Flex (inst) by Tribals. Electric guitars ride over electronic production and percussion, with claps and stomps and brass punctuating the edits.

About this Playlist

About one track in three is instrumental and the rest carry vocals, so the collection covers both promo styles. Superconductor by Mark Dannells, Standing On Top Of The World by Dot Dot Dot and Flex by Tribals are the instrumental cuts for reels with a narrator or on-screen text. Vocal tracks such as Let Me Hear You by Paul Werner and BOOM by Adrian Jauregui work where the lyric can act as the tagline, and Don't Turn Me Off by Lie Pie sits between with background vocals only.
Exciting is the leading mood, with happy and swagger close behind, and the genre mix is dance pop first, then electronic, funk and pop rock with single cuts of indie rock, country pop, techno and a news promo cue. Electric guitars appear on most tracks over electronic and percussion, with claps and stomps and brass hits on several. Curators' sounds-like notes range from Duran Duran and Depeche Mode to American Authors.
Promo music is built to be noticed; corporate background music is built to disappear. The tracks here have hooks, guitar riffs and clap-driven hits that punctuate a fast cut and hold up at full volume, which is what a sizzle reel needs when the picture changes every second or two. A corporate bed is steadier and more neutral by design. For a demo reel, pick the track first and cut to its accents.
Tracks average about two and a half minutes, so a 60 or 90 second sizzle reel uses roughly the first half or a verse-chorus block. Because exciting and swagger are the dominant moods, the energy is established quickly rather than building slowly, which lets an editor open on a hit. The instrumental versions are easier to shorten because there is no lyric phrase to cut mid-word.
Agencies delivering sizzle reels to different clients are covered under the Commercial plan type, with Small Business or Large Business tiers sized to the agency. Each license is issued for a specific finished work and is perpetual for that work, so every client reel is licensed on its own, and a subscription allows unlimited licensing across client projects during the term, billed monthly or annually.
