Little Dume produces alt-pop instrumentals that fit somewhere between Tame Impala’s psychedelic synth-laden offerings and the future-pop sounds of artists like Major Lazer, MØ, Grimes, Elliphant, Elohim, Flume and Jack Ü.
Honing in on the reflexive qualities of electronic music, Little Dume uses the structural “boundaries” of pop music to create trippy pop tracks, set over break beats, that are wholly electronic yet avoid the pomp indulgences of EDM. With a keen sense for melody, and a love of obscure sounds, warped effects, chopped vocals and unique tonal atmospherics, Little Dume melds woozy languid synths, offbeat melodic lines and infectious, head-bobbing rhythms to deliver an infectious sound all his own.
Collaborating with other artists as a producer/songwriter, Little Dume’s work has accumulated millions of streams, received chart recognition and been appreciated in key press outlets like NME, Indie Shuffle, Hilly Dilly, BBC, Line of Best Fit, Buzz Bands LA, Exclaim and many others.
Working with Audiosocket, his music has been featured in advertisements for Banana Republic, HP Computers, Monster Energy, Mastercraft, Tumi, and Saks Fifth Avenue. It has also been used in a number of indie films, podcasts, and on TV in recent episodes of Wynonna Earp, Killjoys, Teen Mom, Are You the One, and Royals.
